Foundation Learning

These entry level programmes are designed to help meet your individual needs. You can progress through levels of achievement at pre-entry, entry level and then onto other learning programmes.

A Levels

A Levels provide an academic route that often leads to Higher Education and degree or higher level qualifications. You may also be able to combine your A Levels with other qualifications.

NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications)

These qualifications allow you to study and train on specific work based programmes. They help you to demonstrate you have the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to work in your chosen occupational area. NVQs are available at levels one, two and three in many different areas of study.

BTEC First and National Qualifications

These highly regarded qualifications are based around an occupational area and help prepare you for Further and Higher Education, or employment.

Functional Skills

All Full time learners are given the opportunity to develop their skills in Maths, English and IT whilst studying for their main qualifications. For learners who do not already have a Level 2 in these skill areas, we will work with you to help you gain accreditation at a suitable level. Whilst skills qualifications are available to all Full time learners, they form an essential component of Apprenticeship programmes.
