Gym goers and swimmers at the Leisure Centre were treated to pamper sessions by Northampton College Hair & Beauty students, as they promoted their professional skills and exciting offers.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 21 April visitors to the Leisure Centre benefited from free hair drying and styling, and mini manicures – just a taster of the extensive range of treatments and therapies on offer at the Salon NC, based on the College site at Badby Road West.
Hairdressing student Charlotte Phethan, 19 from Cold Ashby explained, ‘The Salon NC is run as a professional outlet, and I don’t think many people realise that – so we’re hoping pampering people at the Leisure Centre will go some way to raising awareness about the salon and the treatments we can offer the people of Daventry. We always welcome new clients as we need to practice our techniques in order to complete our qualifications.’
A range of professional hair and beauty treatments are available to members of the public at The Salon NC, including hair cuts and colouring, reflexology, Indian head massage, aromatherapy treatments and full body massage – all at competitive prices.
