Daventry Learning Partnership hosts second Family Fun Day

An ice skating rink, live music, doggy demos and a scary host of snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies are just some of the attractions to be enjoyed at the DLP Family Fun Day.

The event will take place at Northampton College at Daventry, Badby Road West on Saturday 6 June, 10am-8pm.

Head of Daventry Centre, Zara Hunwicks said, ‘We held a hugely successful event last year for the local community which provided a fun family day out and celebrated the DLP’s role in the local community. We are very excited about hosting another event that the people of Daventry will enjoy. This year we aim to make it even better with something of interest for every age group.’

DLP students from the four partner institutions will also play a big part in the activities showing off their talents at the event with band and DJ performances, outdoor games, hair extensions and beauty treatments, summer cookery demos and a display of art and crafts.
